Disclosure and Baring Service (DBS) application process

Through our online DBS system we will enter your details and send you a link with personal login details and a password.

A Payment of £55.00 is required for us to process your check.

DBS’s usually take 48 hours to process, you will receive a hard copy at your home address for you to keep and take to the nursery/school.

DBS Update service

We strongly advise all candidates completing a DBS to register for the DBS Update Service. You will be required to pay an annual subscription charge of £13.00, however there are many benefits:

Subscription allows you keep your DBS certificate up to date.Portability, you can take it with you when you move jobs or roles within the same workforce. Quicker work placement, subscribing to the DBS Update Service saves time for you and the employer as they can carry out the required status checks on line.

You must apply for the update within 19 calendar days from the issue date of your DBS certificate.

You must retain your DBS certificate to show to employers with your update DBS number.
